DocStar Medical Partners has a great new locum tenens Nephrology NP or PA opportunity in Nebraska.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Current Physicians: Currently have one full time physician
- Mix of outpatient clinic, rounding at the hospital and dialysis centers, and various outreaches within the state.
Outpatient: Clinic is Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. • APP will learn processes in GPH Nephrology, Dialysis, and Patient Rounding.
- Outreach clinics – APP may assist with telehealth outreach clinics.
Staff available -- Full-time Office Manager, 1 full-time RN, full-time CNA, dedicated office assistant for scheduling
Call Expectations – no call expectations at this time
How long is the wait for an appointment – 1 months for new patient appointments in the outpatient clinic setting EMR – EPIC
Nephrology Cases Provider must be familiar with:
- Acute Kidney Injury
- Diabetic Nephropathy
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Pre-end-stage Kidney Disease
- Hemodialysis
- Peritoneal Dialysis
- Lupus Nephritis
- IGA Nephropathy
- Glomeruloneprhitis
- Hematuria
- High Blood Pressure
- Kidney Stone
- Proteinuria
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
License/Certification:
- Active NE license & DEA (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
