THE OVERVIEW
An experienced Composer is being sought to create a complete musical score for a narrative fiction feature motion picture. The finished soundtrack could, potentially, be as long as 1 hour, 45 minutes.
THE STORY
Broadly, the story is a romantic drama that challenges popular standards of what constitutes a legitimate relationship.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is best if you…
—already have experience with this type of project but are seeking to add more such credits to your filmography, or
—have worked on smaller or different types of projects (e.g., short films; music recordings; music videos) and wish to apply that experience to a larger, narrative feature film.
THE PRODUCTION
Work will mainly take place remotely. As this is a microbudget film with only a shoestring budget, you would be provided only minimal monetary compensation, based on a flat project fee. You would also receive credit onscreen and at IMDb. To be considered, you must state your proposed fee in your response.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role you must…
—be legally authorized to work in the United States.
—be located within the state of New York.
—have created a complete musical score for at least one feature-length film released within the past two years.
—have a bachelor’s degree in film production, music or a related discipline (preferred but not required).
