JOB SUMMARY:
The Multimedia Manager’s responsibility is to lead the Graphic Design team, ensuring that production deadlines are being met, team workload is properly distributed, and that produced content meets the brand, quality standards, and messaging needs of Seneca Gaming Corporation. The Multimedia Manager will oversee (and assist as needed) in the production of print and digital compositions for any number of distribution channels and the production of creative resources, including, but not limited to logos, copy and other source creative. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in Motion Graphics and Video planning and productions. The Multimedia Manager will report to the Creative Director and assist as needed with creative review while working closely with internal Advertising and Communications teams, as well as other internal departments and external partners to ensure that required production needs are being met in a timely manner. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and assist in the production of all print and digital content.
- Follow best practices in file management and business continuity while researching and advising on new solutions as the department evolves.
- Assume creative production responsibilities as needed.
- Provide creative review and guidance to the creative team as needed.
- Ensure quality control standards for creative production, ensuring we are aligned with Marketing Leadership’s direction, the SGC Marketing Plan, and SGC Brand Standards.
- Work with IT and/or external partners as assigned to assure that we are using available distribution systems in accordance with Marketing Leadership’s direction.
- Work closely with the Advertising Team to ensure that required creative assets are being produced in a timely manner.
- Analyze industry best practices with respect to advertising mediums, workflow efficiencies, and design trends, and provide recommendations as necessary.
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all team members and patrons; communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with different in-house teams, across different skillsets, disciplines, and vocabularies.
- Ability to document processes and procedures for business continuity.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
- Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- Associates Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required, if experience requirements have been met.
- Must have at least 10+ years’ experience with an accompanying portfolio that proves an expert-level skillset in graphic design production and distribution in a professional and/or agency setting.
- Must have proven experience in managing video production, post-production including motion graphics in a professional and/or agency setting.
- Must have at least 4+ years of experience in leading teams in a creative production environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.
- Must have expert level usage of the latest versions of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Must have expert level usage of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
- Must have a working knowledge of implementing and maintaining digital asset management.
- Must maintain an aptitude to quickly learn and assess new software packages.

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
