Multi-Site Director – Older Adult Center-Based Services

We are seeking a qualified Multi-Site Director - Older Adult Center-Based Services with a strong commitment to supporting the dignity and well-being of older adults to work collaboratively with the Division Director – Older Adult Center-Based Services to oversee QCH’s six Older Adult Centers (OACs), all of which are focused on providing a range of opportunities for socialization, physical wellness and health promotion, lifelong learning, and community engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Division Director, Older Adult Center-Based Services, collaboratively oversee services at six (6) Older Adult Centers to assure adherence to QCH’s mission and vision, as well as compliance with contractual obligations to government and private funders
- Directly supervise the following members of the Older Adult Center-Based team:
- OAC Program Directors
- Cross-OAC Staff, including but not limited to -
- Social Work Supervisor
- Wellness Coordinator
- Remote Program Coordinator
- Outreach Specialist
- Student interns and volunteers
- Monitor and evaluate program performance in relation to contract deliverables, and develop action plans to improve performance where necessary
- Assist in developing goals for measuring programmatic impact and oversee implementation of evaluation mechanisms within programs
- Assist with the development and maintenance of OAC Participant Advisory Councils
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, consultants, and community partners to be utilized across OACs
- Represent OACs in the Older Adult Services leadership team meetings
- Identify, coordinate, and implement opportunities for collaboration between OACs and other agency programs
- Liase with government and private funding sources, as well as aging, advocacy, and professional development organizations

Qualifications:*
REQUIRED skills/experience/qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Minimum of five (3) years’ experience in the field of aging services
- Minimum of three (2) years’ supervisory experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing government contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and database management/search tools
PREFERRED skills/experience/qualities:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, with NYS Licensure, or related field
- Knowledge of NYC Aging Older Adult Center standards, as well as and Department of Health requirements for center-based programming
- Knowledge of PeerPlace and Simple Servings web-based data management tools
- Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, and/or Bangla)
- SIFI Certification

Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
Schedule: 35 hours weekly, Monday - Friday
