Description

The CTEC training team is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to support the Defense Acquisitions University (DAU) User Experience Directorate (UXD). As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will support the design and development of relevant, high-quality video-based and animated learning assets, to be delivered on their own and/or as part of an overall course curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver high quality short videos and animations to augment DAU’s curriculum
• Add and edit effects/elements to enhance live recordings and screen-casts
• Work with subject matter personnel to better understand, storyboard, and execute animated training videos

Requirements

• Capability to work at the DAU facility located at Fort Belvoir, VA, approximately 25% of the time when creating and producing filming events.
• East coast core hours of 9am to 3pm
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• At least 4 years of experience working as a Motion Graphics Designer, preferably on animated training, “how-to” videos, or other instructional media

· Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite a must—specifically:

• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• 3D animation and modeling skills a plus
• Experience with Camtasia a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong information technology skills

· Experience working with Federal agencies preferred

· Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
