Carlyle Financial is seeking a DRE-licensed Loan Officer Assistant to help with day-to-day operations and pipeline management. As a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant, you maintain a vital component of the business's day-to-day operations. You will ensure that client information is securely gathered, provide initial analysis, and follow up on files in progress for our loan officers. The ideal candidate is a meticulous and tech-savvy quick learner. Consideration will be given to those who are solid and clear communicators as you will be sharing important information continually with our prospects, clients, and operations team.
You must have a valid California Department of Real Estate License and NMLS endorsement in good standing. This position is full-time with a typical Monday through Friday schedule; however, at least one weekend a month is requested for planning meetings and pipeline maintenance outside of business hours. The workweek can/will be adjusted to compensate accordingly. This position is based in our Beverly Hills office, with hybrid and fully remote options available.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to borrowers via multiple methods of communication (phone, text, and email) to obtain information needed for a loan application promptly.
- Reviewing and updating the initial loan application from the LO to ensure compliance.
- Provide rate and product information to prospective borrowers.
- Request and review supporting documents related to income, credit, assets, etc. provided to make sure the loan package is complete.
- Support the pre-approval process through processing, underwriting, and closing.
- Manage and maintain CRM to ensure prospect and past client information is up-to-date.
- Provide online chat support, respond to prospects, converse politely and professionally, and set up appointments for further discussion with a loan officer.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures in the mortgage broker world.
- Technology savvy and ability to quickly figure out new software, portals, and processes; experience using Google Apps and LOS (similar to Encompass, LendingPad, etc.) considered an advantage.
Qualifications:
- DRE/NMLS license required.
- Proficient knowledge of residential real estate and mortgage principles and procedures.
- At least two years of work experience can be demonstrated to apply to the duties listed in the job description.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal competencies.
- Expert decision-making abilities.
