Mobile Bicycle Technician Job at Headlands Ventures LLC

Headlands Ventures LLC San Jose, CA

Description:

MB Direct provides customers with a mobile version of our famous Wheelsmith Service right at their home or office. We "meet the customer where they are", with our fleet of fully-equipped Sprinter vans outfitted to handle most common repair and service jobs out in the field, and we will use the service opportunity to present new bike and accessory options to the customer. MB Direct also handles home delivery and setup of new bikes purchased online or in MB stores. We expect Mobile Sales and Service to grow significantly as consumer habits and demands evolve, and with the growing market share of e-bikes, which can be difficult for customers to transport for service.

Successful candidates will have a winning combination of superior customer service skills and bicycle repair skills. You will need to project the self confidence of an industry expert, have excellent problem-solving skills, and also have a broad knowledge of our products so you can guide the customer in enhancing their experience by upgrading their ride.

You are a Mike’s Bikes brand advocate and ambassador, and during your interaction in the field, the sole representative of our Core Values to that customer. You will need to come up with solutions on the fly and resolve issues quickly.

You will be supported and directed by the MB Direct Manager, as well as the rest of the team in our shops.

Compensation: base rate plus commission totals over $25/hr

Duties:
