Charon SystemWare (CSW) Team is seeking a highly motivated mid-level Middleware/UI SW Engineer with demonstrable experience in design and implementation of microservices and UI architectures and algorithms in a commercial environment with aggressive timescales. This role requires a thorough understanding of designing microservices and UI solutions for intuitive web interfaces/applications and middleware SW. Your expertise will help drive forward next-generation Radio Frequency (RF) system designs used in a variety of applications across our customer space. As a CSW UI/UX team member, you will participate in the design and implementation of UI/UX components oftentimes outside of your “comfort zone”, to achieve innovative solutions to complex problems. This position does not require an in-depth knowledge of RF or Signal Processing.
Qualifications:Ideal Candidates are proficient with:
- JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, Ember, Backbone, jQuery
- HTML5, CSS, Sass
- Web application development (architecture, design, wireframing, implementation and test)
- Responsive Web Design
- Object-oriented application design and development
- Test-driven development in an agile framework
- In-depth understanding of browser objects
Preferred skills include:
- Experience with ZeroMQ or other Pub/Sub based messaging services
- Microservices programming – Standard C/C++, GoLang
- Object-relational mapping tools
- Relational database systems (SQLite, PostgreSQL)
- Browser extensions for Firefox or Chrome
- Solid experience with continuous integration and automated UI testing tools
