Middle/Senior QA Automation (Java) Job at IDT Corporation
IDT is looking for a
Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our core product, net2phone to make the team more powerful and extend our automation practices.
Description:
- You will be responsible for managing and delivering automated testing, practices and guidelines in cooperation with the rest of the scrum teams
- This position is for someone who can write and execute automation test cases, build pipelines for our CI/CD solutions, take part in review of manual Test scripts/ Cases to improve coverage and define goals for other automation team members
- You should be passionate to train, teach and guide other members of QA teams
- Work with non-functional areas of automation testing: performance and reliability
- Be interested in learning new edges and technologies in automation for non-web projects: VoIP, calling applications, voice applications, video conferences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Further development and support of the test automation frameworks in net2phone with solving tech debt problems and technical gaps
- Be able to start automation from scratch for new products within a defined strategy and approaches using the most efficient technologies
- Expand CI/CD capabilities with existing release proceduresTeach and mentor other team members, grow new automation engineers within a team
- Work with Performance testing on project
- Develop a library of reusable UI and API functions of user behaviors used to uncover functional, performance and browser/platform compatibility issues
- Perform initial analysis for technical issues and work closely with engineers to reproduce and solve problems
It would be a bonus to have:
- You have 2-4+ years of expertise in automation testing applications
- You should have knowledge of Java (version 8+) or any other language on the high level to start with current frameworks.
- We are using next technologies in the frameworks => Languages: default is Java, but also presents Scala, Groovy, JS
- We are widely using next tools, frameworks and runners: Cucumber, Behave, TestNG, Rest Assured, Chai and Detox, Gradle
- Our CI/CD system is Jenkins: experience in the build pipelines and understanding the basic is requiredOur TMS is TestRail: should have knowledge of Gurok API to work with integrations
- Project management and Bug tracking system is JIRA.
