SiteWise LLC. has been awarded a contract with the City of Loveland to complete daily electric meter reading services on an estimated 9,000 - 18,000 customers monthly. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of meters read each year. This includes water and electric meter readings.

We are hiring electric meter technician to provide a variety of services surrounding the electric meters.

Pay Rate: $20 - $24 DOE

Essential Functions:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Driving (75%/day) and navigating throughout the municipal area
• Entering residential and commercial property to access the electric meter to perform required work
• Services provided: installing, reading, disconnecting, or reconnecting the electric meter as well as reading investigation.
• Working with energized electric equipment to respond to meter issues for the City of Loveland
• Providing customer service with a responsibility to humility and to the customers we serve
• Working with pride and a high quality of workmanship

Success Factors:

• Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during a work shift
• Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling
• Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers
• Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy
• English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports
• Willingness and ability to learn additional skills

Experience and Education:

• Two (2+) plus years of customer service experience
• One (1+) plus years of working with electricity and on ladders preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
