At AMFM Healthcare, we strive to deliver the highest quality of therapy to our clients within our program. We work with a wide range of patients struggling with behavioral issues, executive difficulties, and mental health problems. We’re seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist who is eager to make a difference in clients’ lives and contribute to our growing mission. The right person for this position will be comfortable managing a caseload that includes a variety of acute mental health diagnoses. Furthermore, the candidate should be willing to listen and work closely with clients to understand their needs and find the best approach to helping them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly individual sessions, weekly measured based care assessments, BPSA within 7 days from admit, MTP within 7 days from admit, ongoing documentation of clinical services
• Assess clients for suicidal risk, trauma, abuse, and exploitation and communicate directly with Clinical Director
• Adheres to any and all joint commission standards
• Consults with Psychiatrist or other specialists concerning treatment plan and amends plan as directed.
• Conducts peer counseling groups and family counseling during clinical therapy sessions.
• May co-facilitate Saturday Family Group.
• Facilitate educational, topic, and process groups for mental health.
• Complete charting and documentation in accordance with documentation policies and procedures within 24 hours of completion of clinical session.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Credentials - AMFT, ACSW, APCC (with at least 1500 supervised hours completed towards license)
• Desired Credentials - LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
• Active registration with Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Master's level education
• Previous hands-on experience in facilitating groups (process, educational, and topic), Individual and Family Therapy (wide range of modalities accepted), and working with clients with addiction issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current adult CPR and First-Aid Certifications
• TB Test – current test or results obtained less than 6 months prior to hire
• Ability to pass a federal background check (Livescan)
