Job Description

The Men's Locker Room Attendant is responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer services for our Members and guests.

They are responsible for the designated locker rooms, as well as taking care of other locations and tending to the needs of the Members and guests. They oversee keeping the locker rooms and restrooms clean, stocked, and fresh at all times. This includes restocking all items used, as well as mopping the floors and keeping the showers clean. Locker room attendants should be knowledgeable of Club services, features, upcoming events and specials.

Primary Job Duties

• Organize and assign locker in a neat and comprehensive system

• Check the Locker Room thoroughly at the beginning, during and end of each shift
• Check all empty lockers to ensure cleanliness and ready to use
• Check supplies for adequate availability of toiletries for Members
• Clean and polish footwear using brushes, sponges, cleaning fluid, polishes, waxes, liquid or sole dressing and daubers. Promptly return them to the appropriate locker
• Collect soiled linen or clothing for laundry
• Operate washing machines and dryers to clean soiled apparel and towels
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned at the end of the shift
• Fold towels and distribute them where necessary
• Check sauna, shower and recovery room every 15 minutes checking for wet towels or other items that do not belong
• Build relationships with Members by providing high quality customer service and meeting their personal needs
• Handle all requests and complaints efficiently, taking ownership of the challenges presented and redirecting as necessary
• Maintain Club policies and procedures, including dress code and conduct
• Carry out all duties delegated by the Locker Room Supervisor

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school education. Golf course related experience or training preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the attendant is regularly required to stand, move, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Valid CA driver’s license. Cannot have more than 1 point on their DMV record upon hiring and cannot exceed 3 points at any point during their employment
