Lake Shore an Amber Court Community is a beautiful, assisted living community located in a residential area with spectacular views of the lake. We are a family owned and operated community serving the elderly population. We are seeking experienced Medication Technicians to join our team. If you are a warm, energetic individual who is able to interact with the geriatric population we invite you to apply for this position.
Shifts available:
FT Sunday-Wednesday & Saturday 3:30PM-Midnight
PT Sunday & Thursday 7AM-3:30PM
Requirements:
- Flexibility with time and days when needed
- Previous experience in a health care setting, pharmacy or similar settings preferred
- Prior experience working with the elderly population a plus
- Attention to detail in assisting with Medication delivery
- Organized and computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Kind & compassionate
Responsibilities:
- Assuring the right medication is given to our resident's, at all times
- Keep the inventory correct, receiving and ordering, at all times
- Keep track of medication records and related information
- Tracking historical data
- Work with staff and residents in a kind and observant manner
- Work with other members of the team to assure residents concerns are addressed
