Medical Technologist -Generalist Job at MILFORD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Statement of Purpose:
Responsible for the testing of laboratory specimens and the reporting of results in all areas of the core laboratory. Automation and middle ware experience a plus. Follows laboratory policies and procedures and maintains quality control practices in the laboratory.
Qualifications:
Education: BS Degree in Medical Technology or AAS in Medical Technology from an accredited school, MLS or equivalent.
Certification / License: MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification preferred
Experience: 2 years of working experience that has a high complex laboratory automation and basic computer knowledge a referred
Technologist will be specifically working in the microbiology department of the laboratory.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
