JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate and oversees the day-to-day activities of the clinic and support team members to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care for patients. They also oversee developed clinic and clerical policies and protocols.

It is imperative that they have exceptional communication skills as they are tasked with interacting with a wide range of individuals each day. They must also have a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent organizational skills in order to ensure that the needs of all patients are being met.

JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSBILITIES

· Act as an advocate/liaison for patients in the health center

· Coordinate and supervise the activities of team members engaged in the clinical care setting and clerical setting

· Organize and assign duties/tasks to team members

· Ensures customer service is maintained at the highest level at all times.

· Provides leadership and support to team members

· Monitor daily performance of team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely

· Monitor and control overtime of team members

· Evaluate the performance of team members and conduct verbal and written performance evaluations after 30 days, 90 days, and annually as needed

· Assist with interviews. Conduct orientation and training on clinical policies and procedures as needed

· Identify and recommend solutions to team members on office issues or problems

· Ensure high quality clinical care for patients by reviewing and researching concerns or complaints and recommending corrective action as appropriate

· Implement and recommend corrective action as needed in conjunction with Practice Manager and HR department. Document all corrective actions and conversations

· Maintain adequate clinical and front office supplies. Ensure supply purchases are cost efficient and within budget. Review and approve supply receipts in conjunction with Practice Manager

· Ensure clinical equipment remain in operating condition

· Ensure clinical policies and procedures comply with current state and federal regulations, OSHA, COLA, and CLIA requirements and regulations. Identify and recommend policies and procedures as needed to ensure quality, compliance, assurance, and cost efficiency

· Assist medical assistants, nurses, and clinicals with maintain patient flow to ensure patients are seen timely and efficiently

· Assist medical assistants, nurses, and clinicians as needed by returning patient calls and completing tasks such as medication refills, referrals, appointments, performing venipuncture/finger sticks, UA dip, swabs, EKG, vitals, etc.

· Serve as back up for team member as needed due to limited staffing

· Assist with or conduce periodic staff meetings with team members

· Attend clinical meetings and relay pertinent information to team members timely

· Attend periodic training and seminars pertinent to this position

· Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with patients, clinicians, clinical and clerical team members, insurance companies, drug reps, and outside medical office groups

· Maintain effective working relationships with all PMG departments including, but not limited to Operations, Human Resources, IT, etc.

· Work at different clinic locations as needed

· Work closely with management on issues and concerns

· Adheres to the Pak Medical Group policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned
