A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL COURIER

As a Medical Courier, you are going to different laboratories, doctor's offices and other medical facilities to pick up items such as blood and urine samples for laboratory testing. At each site, you may also deliver supplies for collecting samples. Successfully transporting medical items requires knowing how to safely store the items on the way to the destination and documenting their work. Although the job doesn't require any specific postsecondary education, it does take someone who has some medical knowledge, can drive safely, and can provide excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or higher
• Customer service experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• At least 18 years of age
• Clean driving record

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time Medical Courier position typically works 5 six-to-eight-hour shifts per week Monday-Friday
