We are hiring immediately! We're needing to hire a Medical Assistant at our corporate office in Seattle on First Hill. Join THS and help us meet the demand for behavioral health services in the Puget Sound region.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the psychiatric schedule
  • Fielding psychiatric team calls
  • Making and rescheduling psychiatric team appointment
  • Facilitating refill requests from patients
  • Submitting refills to pharmacies
  • Taking vital signs for psychiatric patients
  • Administering injections as requested by medical team
  • Documenting clinical actions in the medical records system
  • Coordinating lab requests to assure that psychiatric practitioners have access to labs that have been ordered
  • Other tasks as assigned

Medical Assistant Qualifications/Required Experience:

  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a medical assistant.

COVID-19 considerations:
As of September 1, 2021, all THS employees will be required to be fully vaccinated (one dose of the Johnson & Johnson or two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines). You must submit proof of vaccination upon hire.

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
