The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking full-time and part-time Medical Assistants to join their team in Burlington, VT
CLINICS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FULL TIME:
- UVM Children's Hospital Endocrinology
- UVM Children's Hospital Pediatric GI
- ENT
- Ortho Rehab
- Endocrinology
- Cardiothoracic
CLINICS CURRENTLY RECRUITING PART TIME:
- Neurology (20 hours)
- Urology (20 hours)
- Pelvic Medicine (20 hours)
- Neurosurgery (32 hours)
This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required.
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.
