Pak Medical Group is looking for friendly and reliable Medical Assistants to join our team. Applicants must be passionate about our patients’ care and the community we proudly serve. - Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification required from an accredited school of Medical Assistants
- EMR experience required
- Medical office (front and back) experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Chronic Care Management experience preferred
- Quality Management/HEDIS experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Take patients back to exam rooms
- Obtain patient vital signs, medical history, and prepare patient charts within EMR system
- Administer adult and adolescent immunizations and other injections as needed
- Stay in room with provider during patient visits and assist with chart completion
- Retrieve medical records from hospitals and Specialist offices as necessary
- Assist with non-invasive procedures such as vision and hearing screenings, EKGS and other procedures at the direction of the provider
- Schedule follow-up appointments for patient once visit is completed
- Call patients to inform about lab results and any other follow-up that may be required
- Contact specialist offices and other facilities as needed
- Contact vendors to order medical equipment
- Contact pharmacies to order and refill prescriptions
- Assist with answering the phone, scheduling patients, and other duties as needed
- Work referrals, prior authorizations, and orders as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
