Hip Kids Pediatrics in Chandler, AZ is looking for a stellar (certified) medical assistant to join our team. We are located at 6909 W Ray Rd, Ste 9. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. We are looking for an amazing (certified) medical assistant experienced in primary care. Pediatrics knowledge/skills and confidence working with children are a must. Must be comfortable giving immunizations and using electronic medical records as well as answering phones, scheduling appointments and helping wherever needed. Practice aims to be paperless, so should be able to use computers and manipulate documents using online/email/electronic fax. Must have excellent customer service skills and be personable to coworkers, children and parents alike. Must be able to multitask and take direction from peers and supervisors. Responsibilities and Duties
Rooming patients
Performing appropriate vitals on children
Administering vaccines
Scheduling appointments
Scanning paperwork
Stocking rooms
Assisting with minor procedures
Cleaning up after patients when needed
Checking patients in and out
Confirming appointments
Qualifications and Skills
Medical Assistant Certification minimum, prefer Certified Medical Assistant with pediatric experience
Job Experience desired, but not required for the right enthusiastic applicant
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks is important - as well as being a team player and taking direction from multiple people
