Medical Assistant Job at Dermatology Consultants of Gloucester
We are looking for a motivated, friendly, highly functioning individual to join our busy dermatology team!
- Escort patients to the exam room.
- Assist Provider with exam and procedure, administering medications, and performing tests.
- Assist patients with questions about medications, usage, and wound care.
- Ensure all related reports, labs, and acquired information is available in the patient’s medical records.
- Triage and relay messages from patients and staff to the providers.
- Clean and restock examination and surgery rooms.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Scheduling appointments
- Experience utilizing EMR systems
- Computer and iPad savvy
Experience:
- 2-3 years medical assistant experience
- Dermatology experience is a huge plus
- Knowledge of biologics and medication prior authorization process
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
