Medical Administrator/Scheduler Job at PLEASANT PEDIATRICS
Pleasant Pediatrics is looking to grow our admin team to help assist children and their families across Arizona. We have an amazing work culture and all of our staff enjoy collaborating with each other to provide our patients with the best care. Our practice is proud to work with several community projects and partner organizations to provide care to at-risk communities such as refugees and unaccompanied minors.
As a medical scheduler, you'll set up appointments for patients and fulfill parent requests. This includes collaborating with our team of Pediatricians, managers, billers, and MA's to serve our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients
- Schedule appointments, create charts, and record information while following HIPPA.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the correct department (Care Team, Billing, etc.)
Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma; recommended but not required.
- Prior medical or service experience is recommended but not required.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
