Medicaid Reassessment Contractor Job at Aging Ahead
GENERAL DESCIPTION:
Complete monthly list of MO Medicaid Reassessments, complying with all training guidelines, attachments and exhibits of the DHSS HCBS Policy Manual and HCBS Web Tool. Contractors earn $100 per reassessment with a minimum requirement of ten (10) per month and a maximum of forty (40) per month.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Screen participants for MO HealthNet eligibility for current telephone numbers and address
- Arrange schedule for reassessments and complete reassessments by means stated by the MO DSS (either in person or by phone)
- Report ineligibility issues that are detected immediately to Aging Ahead prior to completion of the reassessment
- Use MO HealthNet Cyber Access to complete all needed reassessments
- Complete all needed actions of the job on the computer with no paper files
- Report all completed assessments to Aging Ahead each month
- Complete all needed corrections for previously submitted assessments
- Submit an Invoice for all completed reassessments for each month for reimbursement
- Adhere to all Medicaid HCBS program deliverables, specifications of HIPAA agreement and agency MOU
- Must maintain Department of Senior & Disability Services quality standards as part of contract terms. Quality standards will be covered during provided training
Requirements
All assessors must meet one of the following experience or education requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
- A Registered Nurse (RN) who is licensed and in good standing in Missouri;
- A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is licensed and in good standing in Missouri with one or more years of experience working as an LPN;
- One or more years of experience as a Social Services Specialist (state employment);
- Four or more years of experience with the Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS) or an Area Agency on Aging; OR Multilingual and approved through DSDS.
- Prior DSDS assessor training/experience highly preferred.
Physical Demands: This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing or lifting of less than 20lbs would be involved during home visits.
Other: Local travel is required, must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and automobile insurance as required by the State of Missouri. Must also retain professional liability insurance and provide Aging Ahead proof of insurance. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 as defined in Aging Ahead’sCOVID19 Vaccination policy and provide Aging Ahead proof of vaccination(s).
