Essential Functions:

• Willingness to train and take actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities

• Foster teamwork among co-workers, take initiative on tasks needed to get done to keep the office running as smooth as possible

• Easy-going, positive attitude

• Assist with self-administration of medication and treatments

• Assistance with inhalers, nebulizer treatments and topical creams and ointments as ordered by the physician

• Keeping the medication storage and medication room organized

• Order and track medication refills, appropriate storage of medication

• Timely follow-up on medication orders (new, change or discontinue orders) – making sure that other members of the team (pharmacy, co-med techs, supervisor) are notified and ensure that orders are carried out and delivered on time

• Accurate charting in the e-MAR system

• Observe, report and document significant change in a resident’s behavior/condition

• Ability to make arrangements for hospitalization as needed (contacting the resident’s physician, setting up ambulance transportation and relaying basic report to the hospital staff nurse) and notifying families as applicable

• Ability to call 911 in the event a resident experiences a life-threatening emergency and notifying families as applicable

• Assist with completion of the monthly medication re-stocking (medication cycle)

• Basic clerical skills: answering and appropriately directing phone calls, ability to use the copy/fax machine, filing paperwork and scheduling appointments

We are currently seeking the following shifts for full-time:
3rd 10:00 PM - 6:15 AM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
