WE ARE HIRING WORKERS WITH MECHANICAL AND WELDING EXPERIENCE FOR A SHUT DOWN IN JUNE!!

Must have a Valid CA DL and clean DMV report and be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test. No exceptions.

Our work will be in Mohave California. These positions will require working overtime.

Job Summary:

The position of Single Hand Welder will have experience performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to; weld preparation, welding, weld finishing operations, and fabricating material out of metal utilizing a variety of equipment to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instructions. Always works safely and looks out for the safety of himself and others.

Reports to / Supervision Received:

· Direct Supervisor – Shop or Field Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Must maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and their operations
• Keeps machinery and other industrial equipment in good working order.
• Utilizes a variety of hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Works on pumps, kiln, turbines, conveyor systems, and many other kinds of machinery and/or industrial equipment

· Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

• Must maintain clean and safe working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to understand work orders, welding procedures, or oral instructions.
• Ability to receive and understand instructions.
• Welding of fabricated sub-assemblies.
• Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and a range of structural steel materials.
• Use tools and equipment including torches, forklifts, carpenters’ levels, laser levels; manlift, power drills, power grinders, power saws, and mag drills.
• Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Signal overhead crane operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of equipment, and materials.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
• Assists other trades personnel to successfully execute work activities on time.
• Must maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with client procedures, rules, and regulations.

Authority:

· Report any safety infraction to Supervisor or Safety Manager

· Under the direction of the Supervisor as directed

Required Qualifications:

· MUST HAVE MSHA PART 46 If you do not have MSHA, training will be provided

A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in mechanical & steel fabrication in performing a variety of welding tasks using manual, semiautomatic, and automatic arc and gas equipment

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Day & Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Saturday & possibly Sundays

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mojave, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
