Mechanical Technician Job at Fiore Industries Inc.
Fiore Industries, Inc. Is seeking a highly-skilled mechanical technician to assist our engineering and manufacturing teams. Internally, you will be working with Engineering staff to ensure mechanical designs are built to specifications, and working with Manufacturing staff to complete product and prototype assembly. You will also assist with mechanical and fabrication activities for a wide range of R&D. Externally, you will be interfacing with vendors and suppliers to drive forward mechanical fabrication activities.
To ensure success as a mechanical technician, you should exhibit solid knowledge of mechanical systems and mechanical fabrication. Previous Experience with electromechanical products, fabrication, and/or assembly will be valuable.
Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
Assisting electrical and mechanical engineers with mechanical design, fabrication, and maintenance tasks.
Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical records.
Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
Interfacing with mechanical vendors to expedite outside manufacturing and fabrication.
Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
