Basic Function
· This position involves mechanical assembly of plastic air and liquid flow meters. It is light detailed work that requires great flexibility and variation in a made to order environment or customized product line. Mechanical Assembly with the ability to think outside of the box, and go the extra mile. Problem solving daily issues with little oversight
Responsibility
- Always maintains professional demeanor and work within the guidelines of the company policies and standards.
- Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications.
- Discuss project specifications with engineers and supervisors to guarantee consistency between made to order variations.
- Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation
- Also ability to read blueprints.
- Appropriate interpersonal skills to allow for professional, courteous and productive interaction with subordinates, co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment and materials up to forty pounds.
- Ensure quality standards are met to customer expectations and internal guidelines.
- Ensuring quality control by paying attention to details, as no two jobs are the same, follow reporting and record-keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
- · Must have meticulous attention to detail and be aware of discrepancy's
- · Must be willing to work with small parts, good eyesight and manual dexterity is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
