Materials Handler Job at Mercury Systems

In this role, you have the opportunity to
Support sales goals by contributing to all aspects of inventory and warehouse functions for Mercury. The responsibilities include all facets of maintaining inventory like kitting, cycle counting and data entry.
You are responsible for
*
Put away parts in the correct locations
*
Be responsible for kitting; Components for production and outside processing
*
Issue parts physically and in the MRP system
*
Perform daily cycle counting
*
Assist in locating parts physically and digging into transaction history in the MRP system
*
Participate in inventory verification/investigation and adjustments
*
Maintain locations in MRP system
*
Keep area clean and organized
*
Some experience in Inventory required
*
Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred
*
Experience preforming inventory transactions in an MRP system preferred
*
High School Diploma or equivalent required
*
Keyboarding skills; Must be able to type accurately and fairly quickly
*
Kitting experience preferred
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook
*
Internal drive to learn and continuously improve
*
Strong attention to detail and highest levels of accuracy
*
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
*
Must have a serious sense of urgency, and ability to move quickly while staying accurate
*
Excellent oral and written communication skills
*
Must be able to work well in a team environment
*
Must be able to comprehend and perform duties in accordance with an ISO9001 Quality System
Physical Requirements:

The employee will spend all day on their feet, standing, lifting, reaching and stooping
*
The employee can expect to spend time kneeling or crouching
*
The employee will be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
