Responsibilities
Perform the movement, staging and loading of materials on the back side of production and for outbound shipments.
- Forklift operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Maintain flow of materials to and from each work area on the back side of the production.
- Stage and prepare product for production in all work areas.
- Evaluate, plan and perform truck loading under time constraints.
- Load finished product into outbound trucks.
- Load correct materials and skid quantities on the appropriate trucks.
- Load pallets to maximize safety, load security and load optimization.
- Pull extension spring products utilizing internal Kanban system.
- Receive inbound shipments, not including raw materials.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1-3 years material handling experience.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and demonstrated safe forklift driving.
- Strong communication skills.
