Job Description
Perma Pure Group (Perma Pure & Maxtec LLC) currently works with many of the largest Medical Device and Analytical Equipment manufacturers that are well-known globally. As our business grows, we are looking to build an end-to-end Supply Chain process. We are looking to bring in a Supply Chain Excellence Leader to support purchasing, inventory management and drive supply chain improvements.

Position Description:

  • Lead the Demand, Supply & Production Planning team and ensure collaboration with cross- functional teams to develop monthly/weekly forecasts for specific product(s)/customer(s)
  • Responsible for process development, standardization and continuous improvement in areas such as, Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP); Master Production Scheduling, Shop Floor Control;
  • Lead SI&OP process while developing KPIs and reports to track and give visibility of the whole Demand and Supply planning performance cycle;
  • Compile customer forecast accuracy and bias data and drive proactive action plans to address issues/gaps including constructive challenging of the sales and operations teams as needed;
  • Challenge the status quo of Demand and Supply Planning models and processes across the organization while targeting the right level of inventory, balancing customer and consumer demand versus the current company resources and capacity while assuring a good plan to replenish inventory on time;
  • Design, implement and manage a team responsible for executing a monthly and annual production plan;
  • Cross-functional collaboration across the organization to drive a highly accurate SI&OP process;
  • Oversee and implement release planning schedule to ensure the timely delivery of all production work orders/jobs to the Operations team.
  • Utilize and optimize forecasting tools (Forecast Pro, DOMO) and exception reporting in collaboration with the IT Team to improve sales forecasting at various aggregation levels and develop scalable systematic solutions for future growth and continues process improvement
  • Lead the generation of demand inputs for the annual budgeting process; compare forecasts to the commercial and financial budgets, providing senior leadership a clear overview of variances, uncertainty and risk areas to the business
  • Maintain planning forecasts that align with the strategies and objectives of the business over a 12-15 month horizon.
  • Complete entry of comprehensive work order/job release data in the company’s ERP systems to ensure product setup and maintained to high level accuracy for achieve customer due dates and deadlines.
  • Lead and drive Monthly SI&OP meetings with the Commercial, Supply Chain and Operational teams to ensure planning alignment.
  • Deal effectively with Operations and Supply Chain/Purchasing teams on any unforeseen production problems to ensure the planning schedule is updated and communicated to the Customer Service and Sales on meeting the customer demand.
  • Support strategic and planning meetings related to evolving systems and responsibilities within the company.
  • This role reports to the VP of Supply Chain

Qualifications

  • Highly energetic individual with at least 10+ years of supply planning (including Supply & Demand planning, production planning, capacity planning, etc.) experience;
  • A strong business acumen with the ability to establish trust / relationships quickly;
  • Experience in a manufacturing company;
  • Effective use of supply chain planning applications (i.e. Sage, Expandable, etc.) and MS Excel;
  • Proven track record of success in similar role.

Salary range $75,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent upon experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
