As SWCA grows, we are on the lookout for talented individuals who can help us support our clients and internal stakeholders in the field of environmental consulting. As the Rockies Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting proposal development to sell our services to our clients across multiple industries.

You will be supporting our Marketing and Pursuits Resources (MPR) Team in our bustling Rockies Region, including offices in Albuquerque, Bismarck, Denver, Portland, and Salt Lake City. Together, we will develop and deliver proposals that showcase the expertise of our team and the unique value we bring to every project.

This position is an integral part of our team and will be trained to assist with a wide variety of marketing activities associated with proposal development.

• Provide proposal support assistance to proposal teams (compiling tailored resumes, project descriptions, and other qualification information; etc.)
• Maintain Deltek Vision database data and other marketing software tools
• Review, distribute, and track daily bid solicitations
• Assist with opportunity and market research projects
• Support business development activities (research, manage data, distribute/track action items, etc.)

Entry-level, recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Required:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated).
• Prior marketing exposure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to complete duties and multi-task in a busy environment
• Exceptional communication, listening, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred:

• Customer service-oriented and able to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
• Involvement in an association or volunteer organization or internship
• Experience managing data, searching and populating databases
• Experience working in Deltek Vision, SharePoint, or comparable management information system
• Experience working in professional services, preferably in the A/E/C or scientific industries
• Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Creative Suite
