Marketing Project Specialist Job at Briggs and Stratton
We're hiring a Marketing Project Specialist to work with our shared services creative team. The role will be a conduit between our creative services team and business unit marketing teams. The main focus is project management and driving work to meet deadlines. Position Description
Implements and tracks marketing projects across multiple business units, product segments and brands. Works within the Shared Services team, managing projects for digital, website, social and design. Responsibilities include managing team projects, workloads and timelines to improve efficiencies and brand alignment.
Job Responsibilities
Develops, monitors and communicates project timelines and budgets
Collaborates with management to align with communication strategies and plans, and manages projects across integrated marketing initiatives
Ensures teams follow the JIRA and workflow processes
Coordinates project details, timelines and workloads via JIRA PMS software
Communicates with internal customers regarding project status
Evaluates current processes and systems for continuous improvement
Develops reports from JIRA (request by group, workloads, efficiency, etc.) for management review
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
Well-developed understanding of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing practices, digital marketing and customer online experience, durable goods and retail sales channels
Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to handle multiple projects independently
Understanding of JIRA or similar PMS software
Project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse groups of people
Ability to support and collaborate with a team of diverse individuals in a variety of fields
Strong problem-solving skills
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Project Manager or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Requirements
Previous experience in Advertising, Project Management, Communications, Marketing or related field
