Marketing Manager for Marine Systems (flexible location)

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening ABB Marine & Ports’ position as a leading supplier of Marine systems, including Electric Solutions and Automation & Control Solutions. You will be part of BL Marine Systems management team. The role is open globally, but location will be set in ABB Offices in US, Finland or Norway. The role is a temporary contract for parental leave.

Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Marine & Ports

Your responsibilities

• Align and optimize ABB Marine & Ports’ marketing and communications plans and budgets for BL Marine Systems globally, including all marine commercial vessels and Product Lines Electric Solu-tions and Automation & Control solutions
• Develop and implement key messages, images, tools and marketing material
• Develop and implement marketing communication campaigns and/or activities for product launches and promotions
• Identify opportunities and develop content for media in cooperation with global communication manager
• Manage conferences and customer events specifically for the Product Lines in collaboration with Regional Marketing professionals
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives
• Responsible for internal communication activities for the Business Line, including townhalls
• Ensure easy access to and internal awareness of messages, tools and activities for the product lines through internal communication channels and ensure all communications are consistent and comply with brand principles
• Explore new and effective ways of communicating with target stakeholders

Your background

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Marketing and Communication
• 5-10 years’ professional work experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably in-ternational B2B environment
• Experience from developing/implementing marketing and communication plans
• Independent and self-starter. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and timely
• Strong networker and communicator
• Ability to translate technical features to commercial benefits
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Marine & Ports industry knowledge is beneficial but not a requirement
