Marketing Coordinator Job at Geary Pacific Corporation
The marketing coordinator position is essential in creating and distributing marketing efforts throughout the company and to our customers. The marketing assistant works closely with the Marketing Manager, Product Managers, and Regional Managers to create material that will be delivered to local branches and customers via many forms of communication including print, email, online, etc.
Required Tasks
- Promote a positive company image to customers and future/existing employee team members.
- Build and distribute a rolling 6-month marketing schedule for each product group to ensure all company departments are prepared for upcoming marketing efforts. This will be in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Work with Product Managers, Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to create materials for events and specials.
- Manage monthly product of the month display signage, graphics, website banners and display mockup.
- Manage the production of yearly, vendor sponsored, desktop calendar.
- Manage the productions and collaborate with the Product Managers to create bi-seasonal product specials catalog.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to specific customer segmentations
- Post, monitor, and maintain all social media efforts with fresh content to build company awareness and respond immediately to comments left by customers.
- Fill company blog with weekly posts in line with product seasonality and other marketing initiatives.
- Ensures all website pages are current in addition to online product catalog complete with images, product documentation, product descriptions, product attributes, and determine related and associated items.
- Communicate, print, and distribute marketing materials to branches via intra-company mail service
- Ensure all marketing efforts are tracked and reported through internal promotion codes and sales data.
- Create short videos to be posted online or company Intranet.
- Communicate and distribute marketing materials to external sales company to support their efforts when communicating with our customers.
- Other assigned tasks as requested may be required.
Required Job Skills/ Proficiencies
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing preferred
- 1-2 years marketing experience
- Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher, One Note
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of programs including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Basic product knowledge of items offered
- Social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and Glassdoor
- Basic video editing skills
- Able to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously
- Professional and positive phone etiquette when collaborating with co-workers
