Position Title: Marketing Consultant

Entry Level

Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Salary: Commission Based, as follows:

· Guaranteed compensation for the first one year at a weekly rate of $692.00 (gross).

· After one year, employee moves to commission-based pay, 8%-20% commissions depending on what marketing product is sold.

· Budgeted Compensation Range: $36,000-$40,000/annual.

· Uncapped commission potential.

About this role:

Our Marketing Consultants harness the power of our television, streaming and digital marketing platforms to grow local businesses. This position comes with an established client list at the market leader in town. They maintain relationship with those current advertising clients along with developing new clients. Strong communication skills along with proficient presentation skills are essential in this position.

Duties Include:

· Servicing existing advertising accounts at the station, also developing new local advertising accounts.

· Presentations to local business about the benefit of advertising on the station and digital properties.

· Coordinate with production crew on creating spots, assist with production, as necessary.

· Ensuring accounts are current in payment.

· Networking through community and publicity events.
