Langmuir Systems is expanding our marketing and social media team and we are looking for a passionate professional to strengthen our team. The successful candidate will have experience in and a passion for CNC manufacturing and experience interacting online with professionalism and superior customer service. Our goal is to increase online traffic through all social media platforms to create a more engaging experience for our current and future customers. The right candidate will have proven success with photography along with their passion for manufacturing. Well qualified candidates will have extensive experience taking, editing, and producing attention grabbing content.
Responsibilities
- Capture, edit, and produce videos for YouTube and all social media platforms
- Participate in meetings with team members on-site and remotely to develop and execute new marketing ideas
- Build and execute a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Daily social media management and engagement focus (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more)
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Create products and take and edit photos throughout the process to share with potential customers
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each user group (Langmuir Forums)
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with internal team members and external consultants to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
- Design and publish promotional brochures, flyers, ads, etc
- Collaborate with the executive team and engineering on the next products and how to bring them to market to demonstrate success from Day 1
Skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed capacity in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Familiarity with how to manufacture products on a CNC and enthusiasm to market the machines that make them (preferred)
- Experience developing creative direction for videos and knowledge of production process from initial concept to completion
- Experience shooting, editing, and uploading videos and photos to social media platforms required (required)
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Superior knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and more
- Ability to use social media to increase brand awareness and presence
- Demonstratable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO a plus
- Excellent critical thinking and time management skills to stick to timelines and hit deadlines.
- High energy positive individual with great interpersonal and communication skills relating to online interaction is a must have
- Experience using the following programs or related (required) -Adobe Photoshop, Premier, and Lightroom.
- Graphic Design experience (preferred) (Flyers, Promotional Material, Brochures, Email Signatures, Etc.)
- Organized individual with a high attention to detail
- Fluency in English

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
