Manual Machinist Job at custom valve solutions
Looking for a manual machinist to support day to day activity in a busy Industrial Valve Repair facility located in Vallejo California.
Ideal Candidate will be familiar with set ups and operation of various manual machines.
Engine Lathes
VTL
HBM
Bridgeport Mills
Machining is required on a variety of material types including castings, forgings, and wrought material.
Candidate should be familiar with all types of measuring devices, blueprints and sketches
Familiarity with various materials is helpful, including:
Cast Iron
Steel
Stainless Steel
Bronze Alloys
Alloy Steels
Candidates must have:
Valid Drivers License and insurable driving record
High degree of mechanical aptitude, accurate and efficient
Willingness to comply with a closely monitored drug screening program
Strong work ethic, able to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
