Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Multimedia, the Manager of Video Production will lead the video team in projects from pre-production to finish. They will produce all video projects though the execution of daily and long-term responsibilities, including communication with internal and external project shareholders, defining appropriate project parameters including timelines, and will assign roles and responsibilities to Video team members.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain all quality standards as it relates to videography and editorial
  • Contribute to the career development and professional growth of all members of the video department
  • Develop and direct long-term video pieces and projects, from concept to execution
  • Work with internal teams to develop and implement content strategy consistent with overall brand vision
  • Create innovative videos for use in social media, websites, and other related marketing platforms for both internal and external purposes
  • Define and oversee project roles and responsibilities
  • Develop and produce video shoot concepts that support current campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborate to ensure multimedia footage is consistent with related photo collateral
  • Create and manage workflow processes to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within established time frames
  • Oversee the asset creation during post-production, including intaking feedback from partners
  • Identify and establish best practices and evolve shooting approach with an aim to constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
  • Set up live feeds and live stream capabilities as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or equivalent work experience and training in the media field
  • Approximately 7 years of experience in professional video production
  • Prior leadership experience
  • A professional approach to receiving constructive feedback
  • Extensive knowledge of video codecs, transcoding, and overall video formatting for web, mobile devices, and broadcast
  • Complete understanding of elements such as appropriate lighting, shooting angles, camera placement, audio needs, locations, use of camera movement, and interviews
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple teams at once
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working on a Mac and Windows platforms in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule with some nights and weekends
