Purpose:
This person will create and lead efforts to manage supply and demand across multiple teams within the Supply Chain organization. This role will work closely with the new 3PL to insure a seemly transition through the divestiture process. The role will create new processes aimed to drive order book accuracy with the goal to achieve seasonal sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build reporting capabilities to monitor order book fluctuations and issues. This includes leading the team through a new ERP and WMS system implementation in the short term
  • Order book oversight and reporting – cleanse, order date alignment, drive on time availability and shipment
  • Lead omni channel meetings to monitor the monthly shipping forecast progression. Escalate roadblocks and drive actions to meeting the forecast by channel
  • Launch product management and driving the priority of hype product to drive full sell through of stock across all channels. Insure entire Supply Chain has visibility to launch/hype product for prioritization
  • Communicate to and educate team regarding ongoing business challenges in an effort to prioritize workload and anticipate future opportunities
  • Communicate to and partner with sales channel leaders to deliver strategic initiatives, marketing programs and any special handling
  • Lead projects to review operational procedures and practices towards the goal of making continuous process improvement. Manage on-going projects by defining timelines and milestones, writing project briefs and defining specifications as required
  • Drive Diversity and Inclusion conversations for the team. Ensure that the company goals and commitments with the movement are met by the team. Be an ally to the movement, participate and engage in meetings and support a feedback environment

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
:
  • Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives
  • Strong understanding of warehouse fulfilment, service levels and supply chain principles
  • Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to anticipate problems, offer solutions, develop strategies and address issues in order to meet targets
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at all levels of the organization and to lead discussions in small and larger groups
  • Ability to influence others to build consensus with internal and external partners
  • Ability to understand and use financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes
  • Advanced MS Office skills and ability to learn and use internal databases
  • ERP or SAP and WMS experience preferred
Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree from college or university required with emphasis in supply chain management, logistics, or finance preferred
  • 3-5 years related progressive work experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
