Job Title: Manager, Privacy Operations

Job Location: Hershey, PA

This position is open for 100% remote.

Summary:

This role will provide leadership and support across our enterprise for ongoing Privacy & Compliance related operations. The Hershey Company’s Information Services (IS) department supports these critical initiatives in order to support our legal & business partners in driving growth, consumer engagement, and compliance.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Management of day-to-day operations, workflows, and communications for responding to consumer rights requests.
• Responsible for updating, configuring, and maintaining new workflows required for ongoing system and process changes and additions.
• Manage tasks related to responding to rights requests and escalate issues in order to maintain a compliant SLA and efficient response time.
• Work with OneTrust tech leads on the proper configuration and set up for new features and capabilities acting as the operations subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with teams across the enterprise in setting up new configurations for new Data Subject Access Rights requests in the OneTrust systems.
• Oversee and mentor staff as applicable.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

• 5+ year’s experience managing a team while delivering high priority work with excellence.
• Strong experience across OneTrust’s suite of solutions strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of industry’s data standards and regulations or previous operational experience.
• Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives. Prefer experience as a Developer with a digital platform provider, digital agency, or within an IT organization.
• High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
• High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook. Experience with analytical tools and flowcharting tools, such as Microsoft Visio.

• Strong working knowledge of software development lifecycle and application lifecycle management. Good working knowledge of current Internet, mobile/technology trends and familiarity with client/server environments.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant area.
• CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT certifications preferred.
• Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or other applicable advanced degree preferred.
