The purpose of this position is to lead a group of Regional Coordinators and provide product lead time, product availability, delivery logistics, dates and status updates to Mack field sales and dealer sales personnel to support their efforts in maximizing truck sales. This role serves as a liaison between sales and manufacturing and needs to build a strong cross functional network in order to support internal and external customers. The goal is to provide best in class support which assists the Mack field sales and dealer sales personnel in meeting their sales targets.

Core Responsibilities:
- Manages the group responsible for communication to field representatives and the dealer network. This includes phone calls through an 800-line, functional mailbox, coordinating cross-functional efforts within Mack to get the information necessary to provide responses to these inquiries.
- Increase the transparency and efficiency of the communication to the field by developing the necessary cross functional network to address end-to-end issues
- Provide training, leadership and development to ensure the Regional Coordinators have the necessary tools to successfully complete their day to day responsibilities.
- Foster an environment that is flexible, accountable, motivating and allows the team to respond to shifting market conditions and priorities
- Perform monthly One on One meetings with Regional Coordinators to discuss performance objectives, organizational and individual goals, career development and any necessary feedback.
- Provide accurate and timely information as needed to management to assist in decision making and reporting.
- Review and maintain Order & Distribution’s policies to ensure they are still applicable and provide suggestions to policy changes based on the current market.
- Responsible for managing Order & Distribution’s Trucks Dealer Portal (TDP) policies and TDP page
- Provide complete data for the monthly Operations Review meeting that reflects the KPI’s and trends of the Regional Coordinators
- Ability to see the big picture, to identify key areas and opportunities when working with other organizations such as GTO and GTT.
- Responsible for maintaining the monthly budget by managing the team expenses and ensuring that all policy fees are invoiced on a timely basis.
- Responsible for producing and publishing weekly communication to the field
- Have the ability to provide input and make recommendations regarding the priorities of LVO and Production Logistics to create win-win scenarios.
- Participate in project pre-requisite review meetings to anchor clear and measurable project deliverables that effect Order & Distribution’s systems or processes. Perform and report on validation activities according to project validation plan (UAT testing). Provide specific reports on deviations/findings and decisions to Order & Distribution Manager. Create, synchronize and communicate to Order & Distribution the changes that will occur at release gates to ensure all of Order & Distribution has the necessary training and documentation to continue to perform job requirements.
- Streamline traditional patterns of thinking by applying new and evolving ideas, methods, designs and technologies
- Provide back up as required to the Director of Order & Distribution and a lead to all of Order & Distribution
- Administer all other related office activities such as ETO, etc.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend the role of the Mack brand within an all-inclusive and global vision
- Ability to sustain a sense of urgency while effectively interacting with all levels of management in a professional capacity
- Maintain a holistic approach to management to understand the individuals, groups, cultures and organizations that make up the business sphere as a whole.
- Ability to work in a team environment; however not afraid of accountability.
- An active and effective communicator managing information exchanges efficiently dependent on varying situations and environments.
- Analytical and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that may require long hours during peak events
- Multi-task oriented and able to focus on priorities while balancing and managing overall objectives and actions.
- Proficient PC Skills specifically Microsoft Office Suite; Mack specific applications a plus

- Proven track record of leading a team preferred
- Ability to travel ~20% of the time
Minimum Education and Experience:
- B.A. in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Marketing, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Total Quality Management.
