Athletes Unlimited is looking for a Manager of Player Care and Coordination to develop and execute key elements of the Athletes Unlimited's athlete experience program in collaboration with our external agency and other internal staff members. This position is full-time and reports to the Sr. Director of Sports Operations.


Responsibilities include:

  • Build and manage an onboarding and orientation program for new players
  • Manage the Athletes+ Program, including budget, sessions and planning
  • Work with the Player Executive Committees to support their coordination efforts with players
  • Compile and update a list of player information
  • Collaborate with internal function areas that involve players, including content, partnerships, PR, media, marketing and equipment
  • Coordinate player travel into market for season and housing for the duration of the season
  • Manage the Player Wellness Program
  • Cooperate with civic engagement initiatives
  • Serve as the main contact for players in and out of season
  • Ensure all players receive a copy of the League's Policies and Procedures and be the main point of contact for any questions or concerns.

Requirements

  • College Degree
  • 2 to 3 years experience in Player Care and Coordination or related activities
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all COVID-19 policies and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines effectively
  • Expertise with Social Media platforms
  • Knowledge of and passion for Sports
  • Personable and solution-oriented customer service skills
  • Comfort interacting with professional athletes in a professional and friendly manner
  • Willingness and ability to travel and live in league locations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed

This role is full-time and compensated at an annual salary of $58,000-$62,000 commensurate with experience
