POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Manager, Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for generating new business revenue for Huntsville City Football Club utilizing a consultative approach with potential partners. This position requires a professional dedicated to selling and is passionate, detail-oriented and self-motivated. The Manager, Corporate Partnerships will report to and work directly with the Vice President, Corporate Partnerships for Nashville Soccer Club and the Managing Director of Business Operations for Huntsville City Football Club.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exceed yearly sales goals established by the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for Nashville Soccer Club
- Research and identify potential categories and specific companies to target via direct contact, face to face meetings, networking and events
- Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities
- Develop and present customized partnership proposals that include assets that mee the need of potential partners
- Collaborate with department colleagues regarding partner objectives and strategic priorities
- Support the partnership sales process through brainstorming new ideas and developing new sales materials. Work in tandem to ensure a smooth transition with client on-boarding
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, sports partnership sales is required
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and innovation
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Attention to details
- Strong presentation skills
- Must be proficient in computer software including KORE, Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, managing multiple projects, schedules and clients at the same time
- Must be able to commit to long hours of work when necessaryto reach revenue goals
- Burning desire to be successful and have a relentless work ethic
- Team player – an individual that is out for the good not just themselves
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
