Maintenance Technicians needed for Established business 2nd and 3rd shifts avail! Principal Duties / Responsibilities: • Repairs and provide Preventative Maintenance of all plastic injection molding equipment, as well as all other auxiliary equipment • Install and wire industrial automation line controls and integrate with existing network, as directed/assisted by the Maintenance Manager • Perform repairs on electrical or electronic instruments as directed/assisted by the Maintenance Manager • Troubleshoot electrical control and distribution systems to include 24vac, 120vac, 277vac and 480vac • PLC troubleshooting knowledge to include Allen Bradley RS Logix 500m, huge plus if you can program • Accomplishes all work in orders to maintain safety; reduce downtime; decrease scrap; improve quality production; and improve plant efficiency • Perform mold and head tooling changes, as well as assist with equipment or automation installation • Logs all maintenance activities and repairs • Purchase machine components and set-up supplies for department • Keeps accurate inventory of equipment components • Follow all safety policies and procedures, attend and participate in safety meetings, as well as promoting preventative maintenance to management and production associates • Supports Lean Manufacturing, and other company directives and/or projects Minimum Position Qualification: • HS Diploma, at min. Prefer Associates/Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Trades/Maintenance related field • Solid, proven and stable background in a maintenance related position in injection/blow mold facility • Knowledge of processing and mold designs, preferably injection molding in order to segregate problems between machine, molds, materials, etc. Needed Technical Experience: • Proven maintenance and technical proficiencies in all disciplines: electrical, pneumatic, robotics, hydraulic, etc • Ability to troubleshoot PLC • Ability to know how to use tools • Robotics/automation exposure and experience • Ability to read schematics and blue prints • Basic computer experience Competencies: • Strong Communication; communicate technical issues to various levels of management • Organized; prioritize work load and maintain documentation/record keeping • Strategic Thinking; think proactive, not reactive • Results Orientation Workday flexibility required as hours will fluctuate and overtime will be required, as needed.
