As the Machine Maintenance Technician, you will work to maintain production equipment. This includes preventative maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic operations, operating toolroom equipment to make replacement parts, and diagnosing machine breakdowns.
Responsibilities include:
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling them as necessary.
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a Machine Repair Mechanic in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- The position requires Hydraulic & Pneumatic experience
- Ability to work 10 hours in a physically active and challenging environment that includes but is not limited to; walking, standing, lifting, twisting, turning, crouching, climbing, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required and Machining Maintenance Technician Training is preferred, strong preference for candidates with a state-indentured Machine Repair Journeyman status
