MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - Plumbing Systems Repair & Maintenance
Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day
Location: District-Wide
Duties: Repair and maintain all District plumbing systems, steam and hydronics. Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to service calls. Maintain truck inventory and department tools. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings & Grounds, Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or designee.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years experience in plumbing, hydronics, and building maintenance repair. Requires Journeyman Plumbers License or Master Plumber License. Requires valid Class D Minnesota Driver's License. Ability to read, understand and follow architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and schematic drawings and blueprints. Ability to understand and observe oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of computers and computer programs used in the assigned area. Ability to maintain records and prepare reports. Motivated self-starter; well-organized and efficient; ability to work with minimum supervision and direction. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities, including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/on site.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Licensing: Master Plumber, Pipe Fitter License, Master Gas License, RPZ Backflow Certification, Boilers License.

Rate of Pay: $33.65/hour. Additional $4.70 stipend available with proper license.
