Aviator Sports and Events Center, a premier sports and recreation complex which includes a 175,000 sq. ft indoor facility featuring state-of-the-art ice rinks, a 15,000 sq. ft gymnastics center and rock-climbing wall, wood floor basketball courts and nine party rooms is currently looking for motivated, friendly and hard-working individuals to join our growing team. We are searching for part-time hourly facility workers to work with internal and external environments with cleaning, dusting, mopping, shoveling, maintenance and seasonal tasks.
Qualified individuals should have excellent skills and strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
FACILITY WORKER -
Shifts Part-time Mondays 8am – 4pm, Thursdays & Fridays 2pm – 10pm & Saturdays 9am – 5pm
- Performs custodial work in offices and building interior/exterior to include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, waxing and polishing floors using industrial vacuum cleaners, and scrubbing and buffing machines
- Communicate regularly with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on all equipment and assigned jobs
- Relate to public and to customers in a professional, courteous and respectful manner, appropriately responding to complaints
- Occasionally using ladders to wash windows
- Sweep outdoors and removing snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
- Clean and maintain facility bathrooms
- Ability to learn to drive large equipment
Qualification/Requirements:
Willing to work as a team player. Excellent Customer Service skills. Able to lift 25 lbs without any limitations. Knowledge working with facility equipment. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
