White Oak at North Grove is a beautiful 132-bed long-term care facility. We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Job Summary: This position cares, maintains, and repairs institutional property, equipment and grounds in an effective manner to safely meet residents needs in compliance with Federal, State and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preventive maintenance program on all equipment.
- Some duties with electricity and plumbing are expected, however, this job does not require a trained electrician.
- Inspects building and equipment regularly for compliance with local and state codes.
- Advises and consults with administrator on maintenance and repair needs.
- Keeps a daily log of work performed and is responsible for logging specific duties. Along with weekly/monthly scheduled checks.
- On call for emergencies.
