Machine Shop Inspector Job at Southeast Texas HR
We are looking to hire an experienced Machine Shop Inspector that is well-versed in inspections for our client in Orange, Texas. Our client is a well-established manufacturing company that is looking to expand their team. Pay will be $16.00-$20.00 per hour DOE
This position handles performing inspections on machined parts to ensure accurate dimensions per blueprints.
You will be utilizing a variety of measurement devices including calipers and micrometers.
Requirements
- Must have at least two (2) years experience operating manual machines including presses and lathes OR two years experience in inspection.
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to utilize calipers and micrometers.
- Must possess strong verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task, and be detail oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Orange, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Manufacturing Inspection or Machining: 1 year (Required)
