Machine Operator Job at Twin City Staffing
A busy machining and manufacturing shop in the Fridley area is seeking waterjet machine operators to help build their growing business. This machine operator job is available on the first and second shifts.
Hours:
- 1st shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm
- 2nd shift: 2:30 pm - 1 am
Wage: $18 - 22/hr.

Tasks of the machine operator:
- Safely, accurately and efficiently set-up, program and operate Waterjet
- Read and understand part drawings and work orders
- Perform inspection to ensure products are to customer specifications
- Troubleshoot problems
- Able to certify and operate forklifts and cranes
- Perform other operations such as drilling, tapping and deburring
- Complete all paperwork and inspection reports
- Keep work area(s) clean and organized
Requirements of the machine operator:
- Good attendance
- Able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs.
- Able to stand/bend the entire shift
- Maintain a positive image for the company
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Knowledge/experience with Micrometers &/or Calipers
- Ability to understand & follow written & verbal communication in English
- Basic math skills
- Read and understand blueprints
- Metal fabrication backgrounds
